It states that she discovered him with another woman and then he struck her; was this the first time he cheated, and was it the first time he struck her? Was she in fear that he would strike the children? Did any of her behavior contribute to the infidelity? There isn't enough information to determine, and the facts/testimony revealed at trial should fill in a lot of blanks in a story which only makes HER look like a criminal from the tone of this article.

Fortunately for him, the statute of limitations for domestic assault expired long ago and being an adulterer isn't a crime.
