If the owners don't get their way, the next proposal will be to move the PawSox out of town, or out of RI; I would not put it above them to hold our emotions over "Our Team" for ransom.

I don't believe a new ballpark would be built on the old Apex site- no room for parking; however, it wouldn't be the first time a corrupt city/State built a stadium without parking (*cough*,*cough*...Superdome...)- an 85,000-seat stadium with parking for 5,000 cars...that's fine if your car seats up to 17...
