Report Inappropriate Comments

The teachers that teamed up with these great students deserve a new contract and they deserve it ... now. Not one that is unfair to the taxpayers. Not one that is unfair to the School Committee. Not one that is unfair to the students and their families. Just one that is signed by both sides! The teachers have shown a willingness to sit and negotiate. The School Committee has not. For that reason and that reason alone I believe the teachers deserve more. Call it a late fee. Call it battle pay. Call it a bonus for treating the teachers so poorly for so long. Call it anything but give them more because they deserve it. And if it takes one hundred more hours of negotiations to get to a contract then both sides should meet for ten hours a day for ten days in a row. The students, their families, the taxpayers and the teachers all deserve nothing less.
