It looks like Mr. Gravino is a hypocrite and wants to keep all the marbles for himself; imagine if the owners of Aunt Carrie's had done the same to him? You'd be able to hear his shrill complaining all the way to Watch Hill.
If I were Mr. Rengigas, I'd invest in some very good surveillance equipment.
