Rick, could you direct me to your editorial on how crazy Mr. Gravino was for building an Iggy's next to Aunt Carrie's? I'll wait...

Of course we find out Mr Corrente "advised" 2 businesses that are no longer open in Oakland Beach. If only they had listened to his advice the Beach Pail and Marley's would be empires.

The fact that you even suggest Mrs. Gus' open elsewhere shows a very short sighted way of thinking. You completely ignore the positives of the location, and the positive impact it has on the community which is unfortunate.

Mr Gravino has built an incredible business. The Boardwalk is fantastic and he deserves lots of credit. That credit does not mean he should be the only one operating down there. He fought Mrs Gus's due to parking and the length of time/costs tied up in court was unfortunate. I commend him for the great businesses he's built, i just hope he would allow others the same opportunity in the area. There's nothing wrong with supporting both places, some of the either/or rhetoric is nonsense. Both places have a right to operate and I wish both success.
