Last I checked, the pastor of St. Kevin is a decorated veteran who has more than earned the respect and admiration of his flock. Does Ms. Palladino really wish to compare oppressed and abused Bostonians tossing tea into the harbor with multi-millionaire, pampered athletes? "...Stand for the Flag" says and assumes nothing about "intent". Rather, it is a time honored, simple show of respect. Curious to me how NFL players, prior to a game played in London, knelt during the playing of the "Star Spangled Banner", but stood for "God Save the Queen". A very public display of twisted priorities on foreign soil. Big kudos to Fr. Marciano for expressing the sentiment of most Americans!!
