Dear John Stark,

Again I find myself agreeing with you at least in concept.

1. Our sales tax should be 5%. (my opinion)

2. we should repeal the "temporary" state income tax immediately.

3. I would leave this one alone. I would, however, work to appeal the state estate tax.

4. Loaded question John. I would examine them all.

5. No but I agree that the contracts of the 70's are in dire need of updating.

6.Yes, but it would have to be fair to all. Easy to say. Hard to implement.

7.yes.

One thing you missed. If we cut these taxes we must also cut spending. Feed the "pig" less money and he has no choice but to "diet".

What is on Smith Hill is a 100 ton pig that demands to be fed hourly. I agree with you John that we need to reverse that, but I am going to stay in Warwick. My 700+ days-in-a-row of campaigning to "cut taxes - cut spending" WORKED. Since the election, Mayor Avedisian has tried to increase taxes 29 times. Each attempt was UNANIMOUSLY shot down be the City Council. All 9 members have told me that my campaign influenced their constituents, which in turn influenced the council to deny the Mayor when he attempts to raise taxes. (29 times!)

John, I'm not sure how much of an influence I created, but whatever it is, I will keep it going, and John, 2018 is around the corner!

Happy Autumn John.

Happy Autumn everyone.
