Solar powered blinking signs at the crosswalks would help. When a pedestrian needs to use the crosswalk the sign begins blinking. Often times pedestrians are obscured by vehicles and when the drivers in the roundabout suddenly stop the trailing vehicles have no cushion to brake themselves. Blinking signs 8 feet off the ground would make it safer for pedestrians and prevent rear end collisions.
