More than 40 trees were cut down and nobody is accountable?

That's not acceptable. Whoever gave the order should admit it, apologize for it and be responsible for the new replacement trees. This should not cost the taxpayers a dime. Not a dime. The fact that it has "still not been revealed who marked the trees for removal" suggests that whatever department did it is trying to avoid the cost and responsibility for it. They should have warned the neighbors weeks in advance and they should take accountability today. The Mayor should take the reins on this issue and report to the neighbors. The neighbors are paying about $21,000 each for the new sewers. They deserve an explanation and the buck stops at the Mayors desk.

Happy Spring everyone.
