@RichardCorrente, Democrat candidate for Mayor of Warwick. How low can one go and stoop so low as to pander to the Warwick unions. Richard was it Bill Lloyd or James McLaughlin that gave you this garbage to post on the Warwick Beacon? The facts are these Richard, you call yourself the "Cut taxes cut Spending" Mayoral candidate, but yet, you have called for salary increases continuously for the unions, ie; teachers and Fire Dept. You have even praised School Committee member Karen Bachus for voting against teacher layoffs and yet the School student population has been consistently decreasing year over year over year. The School dept is asking for about an $8million spending increase this year, which is approx. the max tax increase the City can generate per year. Yet, u\you haven't told us yet Richard how you plan on cutting taxes and spending when you do nothing but kiss the behinds of the unions. You have never once asked that teacher salaries should be tied to student performance. Still haven't touched the City side of business yet. When have you ever advocated for cutting anything in order to reduce tax increases? Never. Approx 85-90% of the Warwick city budget goes to employee salary and benefit expenditures. The only reason why your candidacy's head is barely above water is because people have tuned you out and think you are a joke. It's actually an advantage to the new Mayor Joe Solomon that you are the Democrat candidate who will primary him. You are the perfect example of what people DO NOT WANT as Mayor or any political candidate running for any other office. You also intentionally mislead the public when YOU state you have been responsible with your own personal finances. Public documents show this not to be true. All anyone has to do is their homework on you and they'll know just how dishonest you truly are. You're as entertaining as a clown at the circus.
