Congressman Jim Langevin. One of the hardest working members of the House of Representatives.
About 17 years ago I wrote legislation that would eliminate the "bait-and-switch" tactics of some of my competitors (in the mortgage industry). I called his office to inquire how I should proceed and Jim's staff scheduled a meeting with me Barney Frank and Congressman Langevin. The meeting lasted about two hours and my ideas were absorbed into the new rules and regulations that came out of the new mortgage regulations of 2009/2010. The hands-on treatment I received from Congressman Langevin and his very professional staff made me a lifelong supporter. He truly cares about Rhode Islanders AND he lives in Warwick.
