Just to cite some of the lack of specifics from Corrente he talks about his voluntary pension buyout. He doesn't tell you how many years of service would be required, how much money each employee would be offered, how many employees would qualify? Without ANY of these answers how does he know he'll be saving money? If he can't even tell you how much $ each employee would be offered, how does he even know it would save money? He doesn't know and he's being dishonest when he pretends he does. The Corrente Plan is just words. He has never been able to give ANY SPECFICS. I can promise the world to anyone...if theres no numbers to back it up, its just political pandering.

Next he talks about a hiring freeze. A hiring freeze will help keep payrolls in place, it doesn't benefit Warwick until employees start to retire. If those employees are not replaced how does Corrente know ALREADY that no city services would be effected? He doesn't.

He talks about freezing building permit fees. Where will this revenue be made up? Keep in mind Corrente is claiming he'll cut taxes, which in turn means less revenue to the city, no he's freezing permit fees that is MORE LOST REVENUE to the city. Where will that money be made up in the short term? Without these specifics it is just a bunch of words. All Correntes campaign is...is just a bunch of words.

If being a "political insider" means telling the truth, then yes Rick I guess I am a political insider. You didn't use that term in 2016 when you were telling anyone who would listen that you are the "endorsed democrat". Guess what happened? The Democrats were embarassed by you. They couldn't stand another election of being embarrassed by an uninformed, unprepared candidate, and they really couldn't watch a Republican win the Mayor's office AGAIN. All of these reasons are why the party WILL NOT ENDORSE YOU. You have embarrassed the party enough I give them credit for taking a stand against nonsense.
