Well, Scal, the make-believe mayor is already claiming that he will win "with the first vote," so he'd only be compounding his defects as a candidate by thinking he's earned a moral victory over you if your predictions are slightly off.
More voters will support other candidates than him. That's the bottom line.
I think Solomon wins easily, and gets a majority of votes. That said, it will be interesting to see the result. If he finishes first but with, say, 40 percent of the vote, that could be a sign that he doesn't have the kind of support needed to defeat Stenhouse by a huge margin in November.
Like you, I eagerly await Sept. 12 and the inevitable, crushing, humiliating defeat of the make-believe mayor.
