Said Darlene Netcoh of WTU: "I am not sure they even factored in the 0 percent increases in salary that we had for the last couple of years..."

This is false. The recently-approved contract included raises paid retroactively to teachers -- during the prior two years, there was no contract in place, due in large part to the WTU's refusal to negotiate and instead conduct pickets, work-to-rule, and illegal sick-outs.

And before the make-believe mayor returns to falsely claim that administrative salaries are somehow to blame for the current school budget, here is what Mr, Hicks said: "[A]dministrative reorganization is not a feasible route to budget resolution."

Contrary to other claims the make-believe has made, this audit shows that the administrative staff is appropriate for the district, there are 16.5 secondary teaching positions that "could potentially be examined for elimination next year," and the district's health care reserve account is not a "slush fund."

Despite this clear and verified information, it is a certainty that he will try to argue otherwise and only succeed in humiliating himself further, on the way to another defeat on Sept. 12.
