Dear Warwick Freemason,

The tragedy of 5,800 taxpayers moving out of Warwick is now being sadly increased by one. Your move to Florida is painful to read but completely understandable. Taxes are a fraction of Rhode Island and Florida is a "Right-to-Work" state. I have always supported our unions but in conversations with my union friends I warned that if they don't pay more attention to "members" rather than "money", R.I. Unions will face the same fate as the ones in bankrupt Detroit, or the ones that don't hardly exist in Florida. My cousin was a teacher in Orlando and the teachers union there is voluntary. And extremely weak.
