Report Inappropriate Comments

It would be in the best interest of both the city council and the school committee to get this issue resolved before we lose money we desperately need. The standoff that has been happening isn't accomplishing anything other than wasting months of precious time. I am puzzled by the councils stance. Most of us are well aware that most of the deficit is coming from the contract negotiated for teachers raises. What is holding things up now? Clearly, negotiations stalled if the school committee took the action of a law suit. No taxpayer wants to see money that could be going towards education eaten up by litigation fees.
