wwkvoter, I really get the impression that Solomon, Merolla, and the rest of them think that we're all idiots, that we can't see through their obvious attempts to fool us.

Just in the last couple of months, I've seen them try to argue that they aren't a full-time city council; that they were misled by the last mayor; that they were given information but it wasn't accurate; and that they never thought to question the information they were given.

None of this makes them any more credible, nor should it give people any confidence that they can actually develop a coherent plan to fix the city's current problems.

As long as washing their hands of their own past behavior is their motive, they will keep trying to mislead us.
