So it wasn't an agreement, but an offer & Solomon was full of crap? Could this be why Carreiro wasn't available for comment? Seems like he should have come forward & called BS before the article was printed or added a comment so the online article could be edited.

Whatever happened in the room only the people there know. It seems the well is spoiled & mistrust on both sides won't help negotiations. The schools are already taking money from the pensions to fill a budget gap. Even with a max tax increase there probably won't be money for raises.
