Yes, it was an offer. The president of the union cannot make a deal. There was an “agreement” to bring it back to the rank and file. It was determined that a 3% pay cut along with getting a pension (that was already awarded to the union) was not enough. If the mayor came out and admited that he has been spreading false info (FBI, illegal Side Deal scans etc.) released their audit on the Fire department then members would have been more in agreement. What incentive is there to work with someone who constantly smears you. And your comment about what goes on in a room should stay in that room. There is only one guy to blame for that.
