I think your comment is valid. Compassion is sadly lacking. The real issue though is the fact that we spend A LOT of money on education and don't have anything to show for it. Because of the lack of fiscal responsibility and the former mayors inability to lay out the facts and say no, we are in a position where everything must be considered and nothing can be left off the table. It isn't surprising to see parents turn on each other. That is human nature. We need men and women who are committed to running more efficiently on less money. More people willing to say "NO" and mean it. We have a very big problem and it doesn't start with the parents at this meeting.
