Scot63 your ignorance of the law will get someone hurt and charged further. If the police have a warrant and you make contact with them, you have let them know you are in the house. They don't necessarily need a search warrant. They can wait you out, observe you through a window and force their way in (depending on what the warrant is for) or they will surround the house and then obtain a search warrant. Legal advise is best for people with legal minds. Not yours.
