@perky - That is the real crux of the problem. I firmly believe that Solomon and his administration fanned the fires when school sports were being discussed as an option to drop. It allowed them to swoop in and be heroes for saving sports even though it wasn't affordable. I can totally understand why students and parents were upset with the possibility but if given even a brief moment of thought, there are many other issues that should have taken priority over the sports. I feel like we are being failed on every side with no consequences.

I hope Warwick can get a superintendent like Providence that is willing to dig in and deal with the hard issues. We need someone that cuts through all the BS and seeks out answers that are best for the students and best for the tax payers. We need that desperately in this city.
