Steve, I get the impression that everybody who commented before you does NOT want to be hit with more fees and/or taxes - and you can include me in that parade.

Avedesian did indeed let the city go to hell in a handcart while buying reelection votes with generous tax-funded contracts. And there are far too many city employees who aren't required to actually work because the city does not have the proper equipment. I think we should address that particular issue and, if necessary and/or possible, rent or lease equipment as needed and put city employees to work on these jobs. I have no problem with a larger employ with everybody who knows a guy getting on board, as long as we're getting something for the money.
