Let me get this straight on two points. First, "...the School Committee should have a say in who enters our community schools." Does this mean that the SC will scrutinize the immigration status of all students? The actual residency of students (e.g. all the students at Pilgrim who are Cranston residents)? I'm all for both but I doubt such a sentiment is shared by Mr. Cornell. Second: What, in the name of God, does one's address have to do with their professional competency? I'll never be confused with a cheerleader for the supt., but bringing up his residency is truly Amateur Hour. This is the guy making decisions with your tax dollars, folks.
