Report Inappropriate Comments

Table teams, whatever other label they may have, are a perversion of democracy. I thought that when elected officials felt a need for “community input”, they held town meetings where the public can have a dialog with the officials, no "table team" in-between. But now, they apparently just send special invitations to a secretly pre-approved few, while dressing it up for looks with the help of a compliant press and other surrogates. It shows just how desperate these elected officials are, to avoid hearing directly from the voters.
