Supposedly a new chief was sworn in, but the post is still advertised as VACANT (https://www.warwickri.gov/warwick-fire-department). If you’re trying to follow this on the city’s twitter account, the posts come to an abrupt end on Dec 23, 2019 (the event was Feb 12, today is Feb 23). Makes you wonder about civic pride, not by the people, but within the gov itself.
