The Clean Drinking Water Act, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the National Environmental act and the Endangered Species Act were all championed and signed into law by President Richard Milhous Nixon.

It is a shame that today’s public school children are not being informed that President Nixon, during his five years in office, signed more important pieces of legislation, created more important programs (The EPA for example) and made more successful foreign policy decisions than any other American president.
