Thank you for the beautiful photos of Apponaug Cove provided in the July 2 and July 4 editions of the Beacon. We on both sides of the cove should save and frame them.
Much will change when the out-of-state large chain of hotels brings to our cove the necessary caterpillar tractors, backhoes and trained-to-build-them crews of approximately 230 and move in temporarily to destroy the beauty of the scenery they will undoubtedly use in brochures.
And thank you for the City Hall tip top tower photo. We will miss that view on nights when it is obscured by the 70-foot monster gate.
