Durand inducted into honor society

Christopher Durand of Warwick, a freshman majoring in Accounting at Coastal Carolina University was recently inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, a national honor society on April 16. Membership in this prestigious national freshman honor society celebrates outstanding academic performance after the completion of one full semester of college work. Phi Eta Sigma emphasizes those personal qualities that are essential to a successful happy life.

Walsh makes dean’s list

Julia Walsh of Warwick was named to the dean’s list at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for the spring semester.

Medeiros on dean’s list

Morgan Medeiros has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at the University of Vermont. Medeiros, from Warwick. Medeiros is a first-year Professional Nursing major.

Ferreira graduates from Becker

Jonathan Ferreira, of Warwick, received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Becker College commencement on May 9.

3 residents achieve dean’s list at Keene State

Three Warwick students have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Keene State. They are: Alexis Lavallee, Mary Gilbar, and Michael Reilly.

5 residents achieve dean’s list at Lasell

Five Warwick residents have been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester at Lasell College in Newton, MA. They are: Alanna Greco who is majoring in Fashion Communication & Promotion; Meaghan Spillane who is majoring in Psychology; Alyssa Wilcox is majoring in Communication; Elizabeth Bennett who is majoring in Fashion and Retail Merchandising and Courtney Doelling who is majoring in IDS Early Childhood Education

DeNoncour inducted into honor society

Rachael DeNoncour of Warwick was inducted into the Emmanuel College circle of national leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa in April 2015.

Membership in Omicron Delta Kappa is granted to students who demonstrate leadership in athletics, campus or community service, social and religious activities, campus government, creative and performing arts, journalism and media, and scholarship. Undergraduate students who are juniors and seniors and rank in the upper 35 percent of their class are eligible for membership.

3 Residents named to WPI dean’s list

Three Warwick residents have been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. They are: Christopher Bianco, a first year student majoring in interactive media and game development; John Nunes, a senior majoring in chemical engineering and Ellen Pierce, a senior majoring in biology and biotechnology.

5 residents graduatefrom UNH

Five Warwick residents graduated from the University of New Hampshire on May 16. Cheng Her received a PHD in Biochemistry. Christina Bedetta received a BS in Dietetics Cum Laude. Matthew Good received a MS in Accounting. Sarah Figgins received a BS in Occupational Therapy Magna Cum Laude. Bridget Sullivan earning a BA in Communication.

Denault receives Bryant award

Claire Marie Denault, of Warwick, received the Literary and Cultural Studies Award on May 16. This award is presented to a graduating senior for outstanding achievement in, and a strong commitment to, the study of literature and cultural studies. Denault received a Bachelor of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies Magna Cum Laude.
