East Greenwich will host the 5th annual East Greenwich Art Festival Sept. 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on New England Institute of Technology Campus.
The art festival will feature contemporary American arts and crafts artists along with strolling entertainment, including Rhode Island’s own Lizzie James and the Greystone Rail. The festival will feature items big and small, including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, mixed media, sculpture and home accessories along with festive food and live music.
Festival Fete creates one-of-a-kind community art festivals featuring contemporary American craft artists, local “festive food,” strolling entertainment, live music, free children’s crafts, and a specially designed community art project.
The group’s mission is to offer a platform for local artists – of various mediums and levels – to show their work. In collaboration with community talent, volunteers, and sponsors, Festival Fete creates profitable platforms that celebrate locally grown art, food, and merriment.
