Department of Public Works crews have begun the annual street sweeping project, focusing first on main thoroughfares and sidewalks.
Due to the volume of sand on the roads from the frequency of snowstorms this winter, it’s expected that crews will be clearing the main roads for the next two weeks. Once work on those roads has been completed, crews will begin clearing secondary roads, Mayor Scott Avedisian said.
