To the Editor:
The Ferguson Grand Jury has rendered a verdict on the shooting of Michael Brown by a white police officer. They examined the evidence and listened to the testimony of eyewitnesses. The nation now holds its collective breath as anarchy and terror have been unleashed by those who do not agree with the verdict.
Is this what our forefathers had in mind for us? To be threatened and verbally assaulted by anarchists? To have our businesses destroyed by the mob? Why do we allow this terrorism to threaten us? Isn’t it enough that we have savages in other nations threatening us with death and decapitation? Do we have to endure it in our neighborhoods and homes? We truly have become a nation of sheep being led to the slaughter.
