There are some things in life that are as dependable as the sun rising in the morning and setting at night; one of those things is Vinnie Moranto, the older (and wiser) brother of Dick Moranto. Dick and his business partner Brenda Esposito are the owners of Warwick’s Beach Café, a cozy, bistro-style restaurant on Oakland Beach Avenue. Brothers Vinnie and Dick have looked out for each other their whole lives, and now that Vinnie has been retired for twelve years, he has time to hang out with Dick at this neighborhood café. When you have made your way down the well-travelled path to the Beach Cafe, you will be sure to see Vinnie there, occupying his favorite stool at the counter.

Vinnie is hardly the only “regular” customer found at Beach Café. The café draws diners from across the region who also come here for the casual atmosphere, the friendly service and the café’s consistently delicious food. On any given day, visitors will see Carolyn and Al Purtee, two local Warwick residents who like to call themselves “frequent flyers!” As with Vinnie, they know what to expect at Beach Café and when they return time and time again, they get what they expect every time.

Carolyn and Al like everything on the menu. The café’s diverse menu offers them plenty of opportunities to try something new every time they come, and they are just adventurous enough to try! The Purtees are supporters of local businesses and are especially grateful that the food at the café is not only wholesome and tasty, but also extremely affordable.

Beach Café offers a diverse and mouth-watering menu of classic comfort foods. There is something on the menu for every taste, budget and preference, beginning with such breakfast favorites as omelets and breakfast sandwiches as well as stacks of syrup-drenched pancakes, waffles and French toast. The lunch and dinner offerings are equally as enticing. There is a huge variety of sandwiches, salads, Fish and Chips, burgers (and hot weiners!) as well as hearty seasonal entrees.

Some of the café’s most popular specials include their Pot Roast, Prime Rib sandwiches, Chili, Linguine with Red Clam sauce, Lobster Bisque and Lentil soup – perfect for the brisk days of winter.

The Beach Café is best known for its monthly STEAK FRYs! Beach Café is located at 805 Oakland Beach Avenue. It is open daily at 7:00am. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, open until 8:00pm, Friday and Saturday until 9:00. The café closes at 4:00 on Mondays.
