Posted

An employee of Dockside Seafood Marketplace recently found that his only means of transportation had been stolen while he was at work.

According to Dockside owner Tommy Patrick, on Monday April 17 around 1:15 p.m., a male suspect walked off of Warwick Avenue onto Dockside’s property and took an 18 year old’s bicycle and backpack without permission. The bicycle was not locked at the time, but is the employee’s only mode of transportation.

Patrick is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspect. A police report has been filed, and those with information are asked to contact the Warwick Police Department at 401-468-4200. Patrick may also be reached at 401-921-5005.

When an employer offers that large a reward in support of his employee, that is the sign of a great employer.

Couldn't agree more, Rick. But what kind of an adult dirtbag steals a kid's bike?
