Marcotte earns RIT honors
Kaleigh Marcotte of Warwick was named to the Rochester Institute of Technology’s dean's list for the fall 2016-2017 semester. Kaleigh is studying in the chemical engineering program.
3 earn Ithaca honors
Three Warwick students have been named to spring semester dean's list at Ithaca College. They are: Madeleine Anthony, History major, in the School of Humanities and Sciences; Jessica Ferreira, English major, in the School of Humanities and Sciences; and Caitlin Galamaga, Television-Radio major, in the School of Communications.
Caron participates in research project
Maddison Caron of Warwick, a member of the class of 2018 majoring in biomedical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Boston. The project was titled “The Impacts Public Transit and Displacement Have on Patients.” In their project outline, the students wrote, "The goal of this project was to understand the impacts and challenges of displacement and public transportation usage on access to community health centers in Boston."
Warwick students at URI complete fall internships
In an internship, students have the opportunity to apply theory to practice in the field, and then return to the classroom ready to apply practice to theory.
The following students from Warwick participated in an internship during the fall 2016 semester: George Greenhalgh interned with URI's University College for Academic Success: Acacdemic Advising; Zachary Dooley interned with Perspectives Corporation; Jennifer Scotti interned with Rhode Island Superior Court; and Christa Conway interned with NBC 10 WJAR.
RWU announces December 2016 graduates
The following Warwick residents were among the 174 students who received their degrees in December as part of the Roger Williams University Class of 2016: Regina Acquaviva graduated with a degree in B.S. in Paralegal Studies; Danielle Gray graduated with a degree in A.S. in Paralegal Studies; Garrett Hassett graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in B.S in Criminal Justice; Kerri Reilly graduated with a degree in B.G.S. Concentration in Health Care Admin; and Daniel Sorice graduated with a degree in MS in Criminal Justice.
Boucher earns Hofstra honors
Nicole Boucher of Warwick was named to Hofstra University’s dean's list for the fall 2016.
Darmetko earns Seton Hall honors
Anya Darmetko of Warwick has qualified for the fall 2016 dean's list at Seton Hall.
2 earn honors at Western New England University
The following Warwick students have been named to this semester’s president’s list at Western New England University: Sean R. Morris, majoring in Forensic Biology and
Lexi-Amber Hassell, majoring in Neuroscience - Research Intensive Track.
Savage earns Worcester honors
The Worcester Academy Upper School has announced its first semester honor roll and Headmaster's List for the 2016-2017 School Year. The honors represent the achievements that each Worcester Academy student has earned through academic excellence, challenge, and personal growth. Among the students is Natasha Savage of Warwick, Grade 11 with first honors.

Ryan Viti from Warwick has been named to the University of Delaware's dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.
Sedgley on dean’s list
Nadia Sedgley from Johnston has been named to the University of Delaware's dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.
Durand earns CCU honors
Christopher Durand, a senior majoring in accounting, from Warwick was among 2,253 students at Coastal Carolina University who made the fall 2016 dean's list.
To qualify for the dean's list, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average.
Caitlyn Carlson on dean’s list
Caitlyn Carlson has been named to the Siena College dean's list for the fall 2016 semester. Carlson is an English major from Warwick.
Granja earns UMass honors
Dane Granja of Warwick has been named to the Chancellor's List in recognition of earning a fall 2016 semester grade point average of 3.8 or higher of a possible 4.0.
