Catherine A. “Kay” Donovan-McCabe, 95, a longtime resident of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Tamarisk Assisted Living in Warwick. She was the loving companion of the late Edward J. “Buzz” McCabe.
Well-known in the Restaurant Industry, Kay retired in 1991 as the General Manager of the former Frederick’s Restaurant in Warwick.
She is survived by her beloved children, Mark K. Hawley, Charles E. Donovan, Cathy Harding, Carol Lavery, and Lisa Donovan, and her cherished five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Kay was predeceased by her beloved siblings, Arthur R. Perry, Edward L. Perry, James A. Perry, and Rita Franconis.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
