Pack 1 Warwick Cub Scouts participated in a proper flag retirement ceremony at their recent Thanksgiving campout at Cub World in Pascoag. This solemn ceremony teaches our boys respect for the flag and for those who defend it. The cubs also received a science lesson with leader Martin Gomm over the weekend. Seen here are Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts (4th and 5th grade). (Photos courtesy of Coreena Turner)

These scouts should lose their citizenship or be sent to jail for a year. Or both. We need to follow our fearless leader no matter where it takes us.

They should be jailed for properly retiring a flag? You are just an idiot clearly.

A direct quote of our fearless leader's tweet,
"Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag - if they do, there must be consequences - perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!"

I see no exceptions for retiring a flag. What kind of communist retires a flag? You don't honor it, you just use it until it is too old and retire it. That is ageism and communism. Thank god we now have a leader who is willing to stand up to your ilk.

Note he says burning a flag, not retiring a flag? Get the difference? Burning a flag as a protest is not acceptable. Retiring a flag is. See http://www.wikihow.com/Retire-a-U.S.-Flag

I take fearless leader at his word. Those scouts need to be reported to the thought police. Next thing you know they are going to want to become Jewish or Muslim.
