George K. David, 83 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family Friday April 28, 2017. He was the loving husband of 59 years to the late Joyce I. (Andrews) David.
He was a son of the late Leo and Martha (Teebagy) David of Central Falls, where he was born and raised. He and Joyce settled at Carnation Dr. Warwick for 54 years. George began his career in Retail Management for Ann & Hope and Warwick Shoppers World, he then moved on to Automobile Sales and Finance working for several large Dealerships in RI and MA. Over the course of 30 years, earning several distinguished awards. He was a family man who always encouraged his children, he was their biggest supporter. George was a member St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church where he was an Altar Boy and then of Greenwood Presbyterian Church in Warwick.
George was the beloved father of Jay S. David (Lisa), Lynn R. Perry (Mark), James M. David (Kimberly) and Todd A. David. He was the loving grandfather of Christopher, Amanda, Sarah, Emily, Megan, Fayelyn, Nicole and Akeelah; brother of Rita Masters, Samuel David, Sally Madonna, Mary Mercier, the late Rose McMillan and Shirley Babcock; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be private.
