Janice G. (Dwyer) Jarvis 71, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023. She was the wife of the late Donald J. Jarvis. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude (Ashcroft) Dwyer.
Janice was a Registered Nurse and worked at several different health care facilities for over 40 years retiring from ADL Assisted living.
She was a very kind and compassionate, and very caring person who always made people smile. She loved watching sports most especially her Red Sox and Patriots, she loved spending time in her vegetable garden, and most of all loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her loving son Michael Jarvis and his wife Lissette, her grandchildren Michael, Alexander, and Isabella Jarvis. She was the sister of Patricia Fernald, Karen Behm, and the late Dianne Berry.
A Funeral Home Service was held on Saturday December 23, 2023, at 9 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Johnston. Visitation was held on Friday December 22, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m.
