Carolyn A. (Brothers) MacKinnon, age 63, of Warwick, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late James MacKinnon.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Anne (Hickey) Brothers, and the late Thomas Brothers. A Clerk in the Conimicut Post Office, Carolyn was known to be a beacon to those that knew her. Prior to her retirement, she was an employee of the United States Post Office for 35 years.
A lover of animals, lighthouses, and the color purple, she was nice to everyone that she encountered.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings Patricia Barnard, and Lori Shaw Perrette and her husband Mike; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Brothers-Elliott.
Relatives and friends are invited to join her Funeral Service on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 12:00PM in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00-12:00PM. Burial Private.
