AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Zone Change
(20 Goddard Drive)

The following is an amended notice of public hearings to consider a proposed amendment, Ordinance No. 02-24-03, to the Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map to change the zoning for certain property located at 20 Goddard Drive and known as Assessor’s Plat 13, Lot 39 (the “Property”) as zoned M-2.  The subject property is depicted on the enclosed map.

Pursuant to R.I.G.L. 45-24 et seq and Cranston Municipal Code 17.120 et seq, the applicant, 20 Goddard LLC, is requesting a change of zone for Assessor’s Plat 13, Lot 39 (the “Property”) from M-2 to M-2 with conditions.  The application states that the property is to be used for “Retail/Commercial Uses”.

Upon the Ordinance Committee’s recommendation for approval, a public hearing will also be included as part of the next regular monthly meeting agenda of the full Cranston City Council.

The full text of this Ordinance and documents for this application are available from the Office of the City Clerk, Cranston City Hall, 869 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI during normal business hours.

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to speak on the proposed amendments during the public hearings.  The proposed amendments may be altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing, provided that any such alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of the public hearing.
