Room for rooms

As soon as March, the Warwick Public Library is expected to have two additional glass meeting rooms capable of accommodating at least 25 people each and with large screens that can be used for presentations. Made possible with an $83,340 Champlin Foundation grant, one room would be situated in the existing quiet reading area with the second close by where career books are presently shelved, as shown here by librarian Wil Gregersen. Looking over plans for the rooms, which are increasing demand, is library director Christopher LaRoux. He said the rooms, costing $54,131, will be fabricated off-site and installed in a couple of days. The remaining portion of the grant will be used to pay for furnishing. (Warwick Beacon photos)

Libraries have gone out of style but the Warwick Library continues to evolve and flourish into meeting rooms previously rented from Hotels. The cost is less and the rooms are every bit as accommodating. This is a win-win for everyone.

    Smart people.

    Happy Valentines everyone.
