Two veterans from Flight Tango, the 20th Honor Flight conducted by the Rhode Island Association of Fire Chiefs on Saturday, placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery during their visit to the nation’s capital. Here, WWII Navy veteran Dorabelle Smith, 96, who was an aircraft mechanic at Quonset accompanied by her guardian Doreen Walsh and Korean War Army veteran Norman Gregory, 89, accompanied by his guardian, Joseph Walsh, Jr., President Local 99 IBEW, one of the sponsors of the fligh,t perform the honors.
