April is National Poetry Month. Come share your favorite poem at the Favorite Poem Open Mic at Warwick Public Library on Wednesday, April 3 at 7 p.m. Pick a poem you like or one that has personal meaning and read it. Choose a poem by a famous poet or one who’s less well known. The only limitation is you can’t read your own poetry or poems written by friends or relatives. Drop in with your poem and enjoy the show with open mic hosts Tom Terceira and Rhode Island poet Ira Schaeffer. For more information call 739-5440 x9758. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
