Thomas F. Blair, 71, died Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Willis H. and Frances L. (Bowman) Blair he had been a resident of both Warwick and Providence. Thomas had been employed in the shipping and receiving department, for various manufacturing companies, and had worked weekends, for eight years, at the Jefferson Diner in Warwick. He was formerly, owner and operator of Mr. Chimney Sweep, in Warwick. He was a Vietnam veteran and served with the 101 Airborne Division. He loved to help care for his nieces and nephews, watching westerns, and feeding the birds.

He was the beloved brother of Donald Blair, Frank Blair, Glenn Blair, John Blair, Daniel Blair, and Patricia Kirk; brother of the late Joan Gilberti, Robert Blair, Gerald Blair, and William Blair, Jr.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 9-10 a.m. with a service at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors in North Burial Ground, Providence.
