Centreville Bank will kick off its 16th annual “Toys for Tots” campaign November 18. The drive runs through December 7.
New, unwrapped gifts will be accepted at all seven Centreville branches. Popular toys and items include sporting equipment such as bags and balls, board games, backpacks, books, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, dolls, and action figures. (Please do not donate food items or toys that look like realistic weapons.)
The collections will take place at bank locations in Coventry, Cranston, East Greenwich, Narragansett, West Greenwich and West Warwick.
“This is a great opportunity for our community to get into the holiday spirit and embrace the gift of giving,” said Harold Horvat, president, CEO and chairman of Centreville Bank. “We encourage everyone to help brighten the lives of children with a special toy this holiday season.”
Over the past 15 Years, Centreville Bank has collected nearly 8,000 toys, which have been given to children across the state. The U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is responsible for the collection of these new toys, where their goal is to instill hope in America’s less fortunate.
