The Warwick Beacon’s Athlete of the Week is Pilgrim basketball player Carter Clifton. After suffering a torn ACL toward the end of last year, Clifton returns healthy and has made an immediate impact as he has led the team in league scoring through three games. Clifton had his best performance in the team’s latest win over Coventry, when he put up 28 points.
